Becoming the Leading Temporary Service Company in Asia

Temp Holdings Co., Ltd. was recently established through the merger of Tempstaff Co., Ltd. and People Staff Co., Ltd. Our aim is to improve customer satisfaction and business efficiency by taking full advantage of our existing businesses and the accumulated know-how of both companies. We will strive to maintain a robust corporate framework and profitable financial position while pursuing stable growth for the entire Tempstaff Group. By putting into practice our corporate philosophy — Creating Jobs, Adding Value to the Individual, and Contributing to Society — we hope to become the leading temporary service company in Asia.

Strengthening localized services

Combining People Staff’s solid business base in the Tokai region with Tempstaff’s nationwide network, sales of Temp Holdings will be further solidified — heightening our advantage in various local markets and enabling Temp Holdings to provide targeted, region-oriented services.

Developing business in specialized fields

For segments of the labor market expecting future expansion — including biomedicine, IT-related engineering, and medicine — Temp Holdings will strive to further sharpen our competitive edge and expertise by expanding our network. We will promote a “develop and dispatch” type of service that educates personnel to match future labor trends, especially in IT-related fields that chronically lack labor. Meanwhile in April 2008, responding to rapidly growing needs in the medical field for staff with science backgrounds, we integrated medical-related companies in Tempstaff Group to form Tempstaff Medical Co., Ltd., thereby creating a one-stop staffing service for the medical industry.

Expanding our presence in the global market

At present, we provide staffing services worldwide in America and various Asian countries including: China, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and Indonesia. We plan to actively develop global markets by targeting staffing needs in Asia where there is great potential for growth in the HR business in future.

Providing job assistance to women

We provide various types of assistance to women, who we regard as key participants in the workforce due to the current labor shortage in Japan as a result of the low birthrate and increased life expectancy. In November 2008 we opened "Temp Up"; a comprehensive support center for women. Under the slogan “Raise Children, Meet, Learn, and Work,” the facility offers a number of services, including seminars and counseling mainly targeting mothers who want to re-enter the workforce or find new jobs. Temp Holdings also supports women by running child-care centers, offering jobs with reduced working hours, and providing opportunities for working closer to home.

Improving management efficiency

Temp Holdings is improving management efficiency by combining operations*, integrating systems, and improving workflow while minimizing any negative effects of the merger, such as missed opportunities and loss of revenue. Moreover, we will continue to improve our corporate framework and increase profits through comprehensive cost management and sound corporate governance.
* Back-office operations for work-sharing were taken over by Tempstaff Integration.
