In 1991, we established overseas study scholarships to support those who wish to be active on the global stage, including persons currently employed and students. Persons who avail themselves of these programs dream of studying business overseas or learning a foreign language and applying it to work.
Yoshiko Shinohara, President of Temp Holdings, was introduced to staffing services while working overseas, using this experience to establish Tempstaff after returning to Japan. Her decision to found Tempstaff was spurred by her understanding that overseas experience can be a valuable asset.
Today, we offer two scholarship programs: Tempstaff Worldwide Scholarship for persons currently employed and Youth International Scholarship for students.
Scholarship recipients are found throughout the world. Many have returned to Japan to find employment in the overseas departments of Japanese firms, in foreign companies, or as language specialists working in translation and interpreting. Others are working overseas.

We also provide a broad range of ancillary services, including assistance regarding overseas study, local support for scholarship recipients who are currently studying overseas, and counseling on career advancement after recipients return to Japan.
We will continue offering fully developed plans that allow as many people as possible to study abroad after which they can apply their overseas experience to their daily lives and careers.
