Support for Disabled Persons

Supporting People with Disabilities Who Want to Work

We offer job assistance to people with disabilities who want to work by providing them with comfortable working environments. In doing so, we thereby encourage their independence and help them share the joy that fulfilling work brings.
Temp Holdings and, the firm that provides support for employment of the challenged: Thanks Temp, have been evaluated as proactive and been certified by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare as "A superior firm for employment of the challenged".
The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare associated organization; Japan Association of Employers of Persons with Severe Disabilities began operating a scheme in 2008 to certify firms that include and excel in the promotion of employment of the challenged.

Thanks Temp Co., Ltd. (Exempt Subsidiary)

In 1991, Thanks Temp Co., Ltd. (an exempt subsidiary) was established to support disabled individuals who wanted to work.
Thanks Temp assists with the burden of a range of tasks: Temp Group data entry, tabulation and analysis, business card preparation, envelope addressing, handout printing, direct mail dispatch, shredding services, cleaning, massage, and cafe management.

Yokohama Yume Kobo

In June 2006, we launched Yokohama Yume Kobo, a joint undertaking with the City of Yokohama through which 60 people with intellectual disabilities bake cookies. The cookies are widely used as gifts within Temp Group.

Athlete Project

The "Athlete Project" started in March 2007 and coordinated by the Japan Welfare Foundation provides job assistance for physically challenged athletes. Tempstaff Frontier Co., Ltd. finds employers and matches athletes to jobs, and also supports at-home work.

Challenge Athlete Support

We started the Challenge Athlete Support program in June 2008 to support physically challenged athletes who are employees of Temp Group. By allowing flexible working hours and providing financial assistance, the program helps employees simultaneously pursue work and athletics. The first athlete to take advantage of the program appeared in the Beijing Paralympics in September.
